Whether it's a continuation of the original series like 'Miami Vice,' Hollywood has long enjoyed success from adapting popular television programs into feature films.
In honor of 'The Fall Guy,' which is currently available to stream now at home, Moviefone is counting down the 30 best movies based on TV programs of all time.
NOTE: For this list we are including both movies that are remakes of TV shows featuring a new cast, as well as films that continue the story of the series with the original cast.

30. 'The Addams Family' (1991)

In high school, Schmidt (Channing Tatum) was the popular jock. After graduation, both of them ed the police force and ended up as partners riding bicycles in the city park. Since they are young and look like high school students, they are assigned to an undercover unit to infiltrate a drug ring that is supplying high school students synthetic drugs.

The Borg, a relentless race of cyborgs, are on a direct course for Earth. Violating orders to stay away from the battle, Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the newly-commissioned USS Enterprise E pursue the Borg back in time to prevent the invaders from changing Federation history and assimilating the galaxy.

A case involving drug lords and murder in South Florida takes a personal turn for undercover detectives Sonny Crockett (Gong Li) of a trafficker of arms and drugs, while Tubbs deals with an assault on those he loves.

3. 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan' (1982)
